Matinee Performances

Urban Gateways Matinee Performances take students into some of Chicago’s most notable venues to introduce them to the world of professional dance, music and theatre. 

We partner with respected theaters and exceptional artists to offer a year-long series of diverse performances that will entertain and educate.  

Performance Length: 60 minutes
Price: $7/ticket
UG not responsible for transportation to/from the venue. 

Expected Outcome: Matinee Performances broaden student perspectives of the performing arts and help them to better understand and explore areas such as creative thinking, storytelling, self-expression, cultural influence, and artistic process.

How it works: Purchase tickets for 3 shows at once, and we will discount the ticket price to $5/student
