Experience the beauty and excitement of The Nutcracker as BALLET CHICAGO performs highlights from this traditional holiday favorite. Directed by Artistic Director Dan Duell and Associate Artistic Director Patricia Blair, The Nutcracker is the story of Marie who dreams that her holiday gift, a Nutcracker doll, comes to life and saves her from the evil Rat King leading her on a magical journey to the Land of Snow and Kingdom of the Sweets. This beloved tale has captivated children for more than a century.
