Touring Performances


This season, Urban Gateways is pleased to partner with Exelon, a proud parent of ComEd, as the touring program sponsor.

Urban Gateways brings some of the best artists from Chicago’s professional stages, music venues, and dance centers to your school, assembly hall, or community facility for captivating live performance.

Performances are 40 minutes in length, limited to an audience of no more than 350 and adaptable for various settings.

Urban Gateways provides educational materials specifically designed for each performance. These materials include background information on the artists and the art form, suggest ways to extend the arts experience into the classroom, and provide curricular connections. Each touring description identifies Illinois Learning Standards addressed in the performance with the symbols found below.

Prices are valid for performances conducted within the Chicago metropolitan area. Both programs and prices are subject to change. Many of the programs are available for weekend and evening engagements. Weekend and evening performance prices vary. A travel surcharge is added to performances scheduled beyond 35 miles from the intersection of Madison and State Streets in Chicago.

All performances are for all ages unless otherwise noted.
