The upbeat rhythms of Dixieland, the ringing
melodies of holiday songs, and the haunting echoes of “Taps”
are all created with brass instruments. The Chamber Brass Players Quintet
performs classical, jazz, and popular pieces as it introduces students
to important styles of music over the centuries. Students learn about
each member of the brass
family as they participate in demonstrations of the instruments.

The Chamber Brass Players Quintet is comprised of some
of the finest brass players in Chicago. They have performed with the Chicago
Symphony Orchestra, the Lyric Opera, the Grant Park Symphony, and the
Chicago Chamber Orchestra.
