Opera Theater North presents an interactive introduction to opera, featuring some of the best-loved and familiar songs from opera through history including Mozart’s “Magic Flute,” Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville,” Puccini’s “Le Boheme,” and “Verdi’s “La Traviata” and “Rigoletto.” Donned in costume pieces, the singers demonstrate the various voice types, discuss the music and narrate the story lines behind these classic opera. Accompanied by a live pianist, the singers bring a colorful look at opera drama and music.
